out of hospital..im ok

Hey guys. Not gunna write much at the moment, just a quick note to let you know why I haven’t been around for a while. I just got out of hospital last night. Don’t worry it wasn’t anything serious at all, well except last Thursday lol, but I’m okay. I had a high fever, temperature was over 40 degrees (celcius). Tell ya what though, after 5 days in hospital i’m glad to be back in my own life again. The doctor’s given me today off work, but I have to go back tomorrow, so I hope I’ll do okay and nothing bad will happen. I’ve just got a bad cough I’m trying to shake, and once I get rid of that fucking thing, I should be back to normal hopefully! Oh I can’t wait toi be healthy again, it’s been way too long. So I’m just resting, eating healthy, and kicking back pills which they’ve prescribed me. Phew, that was scary. i now just have to monitor my temperature, and if it goes above 38 again, i have to go straight back to the hospital. Let’s hope not. I have Luke to thank. He’s been there so much for me during this, and was the guy who rushed me to emergency last thursday morning at 7am. Poor bugger’s had no sleep at all.

Wow Matt, I’m glad you are feeling better. Yeah I have a paid OD and a paid LJ, but this place just feels better than LJ. I think I will just keep LJ as a back up since it has not gone down on me in 2 years like OD has, I guess each place has its disadvantage. Blah, you better not have bird flu, that shit isn’t even funny to joke about. Get well soon.

Well, I don’t know what the difference between Celcius and Ferinheit is but, holy cow! I’m glad you are better. Rest, fluids, and medicine are exactly what you need. Oh, and attention from Luke doesn’t hurt ;O) Hugs!

OMG! I hope you’re okay! Good luck at work.

I hate temperatures. I used to get a lot of them when I was younger and it’s just so… exhausting, you can’t do anything but roll about in bed with an irritated feeling all over, your mouth dry, your eyes dry, just… blegh. I’m glad you’re better, take care of yourself, and as for Luke, aw, good on him. RYN: Peaceful is the exact word I’d use to describe that song, =)

Good God Matt! You’ve been sick that long so something was really wrong but the hospital? That IS scary. Luke must have been terrified. No more hanging around with emus for you. Or chicken noodle soup. Bird flu. 😀 Seriously, I’m glad you got to go home but please take care of yourself.

I’m glad to hear that you’re ok. I was wondering if you had gotten worse, but I had no idea you were in the hospital! Gosh…I had two nights in the hospital last spring when I had an emergency surgery to take out my appendix…that was scary. But five days! GOSH! =) Ummm…I have a Cannon Rebel Digital SLR…I love it. I saved for about 5 months and finally splurged and got it.

(cont1.)…could…mostly just sat there and tried to make me laugh without making me laugh and hurt my stomache. One afternoon he came in an pushed me over in the hospital bed, climbed up, and watched TV with me…the nurse walked in and did a complete double take…but she was cool. Just so odd to have J doing those kinda things. Anyway, grass hopper…have a great night! =)

Oh my heck! I’m glad you’re okay. 5 days in the hospital? My goodness. Someone needs to be there to take care of you. If I were there, I would have been over with chicken noodle soup, jell-o, and ginger ale. I’m glad to hear you’re home and feeling better though.

That’s a really high temp!!! I hope you’re okay! That flu thing seems to be going around a bit…but i don’t know anyone who’s been hit with that high of a temp! LOL at all the bird-flu comments! You could’ve been one of the 1st in Aus to get it! Have a good rest – take it easy!!
