I’m here!

 Hello everyone!  I have missed you all.

The reason I haven’t been writing much is because my depression has come back.  I hadn’t been taking my medicine like I should have, and depression is one hell of a disorder.  It’s not like I was in the corner crying, it was more like I had no energy to do anything besides go to work.  Plus, I’ve been getting these wicked migraines.  They hurt so bad that sometimes I cry from the pain, which, of course, makes my head hurt worse.  I haven’t had health insurance since turning 26, and my job doesn’t offer it.  But, when I went to the ER for my gallbladder attack, I signed up for hospital’s insurance plan.  So, now I can go see a neurologist, which I have an appoint to see him the Friday after next.  I also go see my PCP next friday.  I’m going to ask her to up the Celexa, and add some Abilify.  Even with me taking my medicine like I should now, I don’t feel like ‘myself’.  I also need a lady physical.  Can you believe I’m 26 and have never had one?!?

Look at me, I sound like an 80-year-old, talking about medical stuff.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!  I went to see fireworks with my Mom.  It was very nice.  On the way there, my Mom and I had a heart-to-heart conversation.  We never get to spend any time together anymore.  There were lots of tears shed.  But, it was very cleansing.

last entry, I alluded to having good news on the having-a-baby front.  Well, that has crashed and burned for the moment.  I got back on plentyoffish.com, and reconnected with a guy I sorta dated a few years ago.  Long story short, he hasn’t changed, so I won’t be pursuing that.  Not saying that I would have a baby with him immediately, just saying I almost had a boyfriend.  However, the website is named plenty of fish, so I’ll try again.  I’m actually browsing the site now.

My job is still going well.  I love my office manager.  She’s very down-to-Earth.  I can laugh and joke with her.  The doctor is also cool.  Not uptight and arrogant like some people say the doctors they work for are.  One of the NPs is about to have a baby, so we had a baby shower for her.  The other, we hardly ever have her in the office, which sucks because her patients absolutely love her.
