Spring -Come See Us and Stay Awhile!!!

Arrgghh! In the last few hours, we have had snow, rain, sleet, thunder and lightning! It’s super slick outside. Figures! I hate to shop but had decided to do a little shopping out of town today. So much for that. But I will save money. I suppose.

I am watching I’ve Got A Secret as I write. If you were born after the 50’s you probably don’t know what I am talking about. They just had Victor Kugler on. He is the man that hid the Frank family from the Nazi’s. I love being able to see people I have only read about. I’ve been watching this vintage TV show, What’s My Line and To Tell The Truth on AMazon Fire TV. Love being able to do this! Watching Garry Moore, the host of I’ve Got A Secret, smoke a cigarette in front of a 13 year old and a 2 year old sickened me but I realized not smoking in front of kids or any other non-smoker wasn’t an issue back then. Too bad!

I turned in my resignation last Thursday but haven’t even got so much as an acknowledgment from either one of my bosses. I turned it in to my immediate supervisor. The 911 Center Administrator never comes to work on time, usually several hours late and sometimes not at all so I didn’t want to sit at the Center for hours just to figure out she wasn’t going to show up. And I’ve never been able to reach her by phone. After denying Don holiday pay, as we were promised, they had the nerve to ask him to do a transport yesterday, a holiday. He refused. He’s not going to quit right now because he wants the pay but he has another job on the horizon this summer. My grandson is also applying other places.

I guess I will stay inside today……………..
