Thinking it over..

Life is good.

Thinking of possibly making the decision of moving in with the boy. It’s something we both want and are looking forward to…but it’s a big step.

Basically, Im scared. Of what, Im not sure. Im just scared. I’ve never been away from home before and Im an only child which makes me pretty attached to my parents. I know, I know, Im 27, it’s time to move away from home. But in all reality, I have it so damn good there haha No bills. Im also scared that once we live together, that we will some rethink that we are right for each other. That we won’t get married or we will live together for like a million years before we get married. Like I do want to start a family soon.

I also know that it will disappoint my father very much having his only daughter live with her bf before Im married. Being catholic, that is one of his beliefs. Even tho, it seems like what everyone is doing these days, he just can’t approve of it. The boy has even offered to talk with my father about us living together….hmm not sure on that one.

How many of you were shacked up (LOL I love that saying!) before marriage?? Any advice?

There is some pros and cons but in the future Im sure they will all get worked out. If its meant to be, it will be.

But I can tell you, that I am so looking forward to crawling in next to the boy tonight and kissing him goodnight. Its been a long, hot week.

I am shacked up now!!! lol I believe if ya can’t live with them.. ya shouldnt marry them. Not a bad idea to live with him first. Just my thoughts though. Msn when I move, sounds great. Have a great weekend! *HUGS*

i’m not married, but the boyfriend & i intend to get married, eventually! as for living together beforehand, i think you have to live with someone so you can be sure things have the best chance of working out when you do get married xx

I am doing well. How about you??? Hope things are well.. *HUGS* RYN: newfie dinner is hmmm.. A big pot.. with potatoes, cabbage, carrots, turnip, and salt beef in it. Which is a meat that they eat alot of in Newfoundland. It salts your vegetables when u are cooking it. I also cook a roast and a chicken. Make gravy.. soo good. Its all about the gravy really. hehehhe..

Ok I’ve done both because I got married twice..lucky me. Now I would recommend shacking up Catholic or not as long as you are planning to get hitched soon. I couldn’t stand shacking up for shacks sake or just to have a shack.
