Got Well Just to get Sick Again!!!

Finally I was ready to get out of isolation…. Saturday was gonna be it…my husband and I were going to venture off in my new  and we were going to enjoy being outdoors.

So I pull up to a red robot and a few seconds later I feel and hear a knock…I look around me and my husband and I both scream 

He jumps out of the car and runs to the back of it…let’s not forget it is raining…and a white VW hatchback has attached its self to the back of my new baby. I jump out to see what has happened  and immediately my insides boil. This is the 2nd time, in the week that I have had the car, that I have actually driven it.

These two over make-upped women get out the car and speak Xhosa to my husband…who is pretty sure he could smell a lil alcohol on them…now even though if I really paid attention I would probably pick up on what they were saying, I didn’t because I was just thinking what the Fuck do I do…apologize and go on about some crap and how they were just excited to go to this swanky restaurant for pay weekend and just live it up, a lil. Thankfully after they reversed there was no damage…well besides a lil scratch on their car, but my baby was fine. We swop names and numbers and then take off.

That morning I woke up with an eye that felt like it had been punched…it was a bit puffy…and red…figured I should pop into the pharmacy…so I did but the pharmacist said I should see a doc for a prescription as it looked like I would need antibiotics and not over the counter meds. Was feeling a lil shit so figured I would see the doc on Sunday…decided to do a quick shop and then go home.

We bought Pizza bases and figured we would attempt making our very own pizzas for supper… 

 I mean they look great but didn’t taste so great…well at least not with me…my husband hates throwing away food so he is determined to eat them all. He had the one for supper last night…I had a peanut butter sandwich…

So Sunday comes…my eye is feeling real bad so I jump out of bed and decide to go to the doctor asap. I get dressed and drive off to the doc. I see the doc and she signs off on a sick note that I have

So I am booked off for another 3 days. My husband has , so he is booked off too.  funny how we are stuck at home because we are sick!
