I stole this from a fave and I thought that it looked like it could be a fun time… and a good way to pass the time. Some of these photos are very old and others are not. Enjoy. 🙂

This was taken when Bobby, Mike, and I were roommates in our old plantation-style house. We threw a party. This photo was taken by my then boyfriend, Shawn, just moments before I passed out on my bed in that exact spot. Classy.

 

2. a picture of you posing with someone you don’t actually like.

This is my old roommate Jessica. This photo was taken during my freshman year of college… in the dorm. At the time I didn’t think she was so bad. We certainly were never close, but I trusted her. When she and her friend started hanging with my then b

oyfriend I didn’t think much of it. A year later I found out that she’d been sleeping with my then boyfriend and had once stooped so low as to have had sex with him on my bed, using my condoms. Really classy lady here, fellas. And look at her face. I mean, really? He was clearly doing it to get to me. And it worked. I’m still disgusted and it’s been almost six years.

 

3. a picture with a former crush.

I guess this counts. This is my ex-boyfriend Shawn and I. It was taken at my grandpa’s house during Christmas, I think.

 

4. a picture of you very drunk.
Well, I certainly have a few of those…

Dave, Me, Mom, and Dad. This was last fall. My parents and about a hundred others from my home town took rented a bus and came to Minneapolis for a Vikings game. Dave and I met my parents at their hotel for the hotel’s free happy hour.

 

6. a picture of you on your birthday, or your favorite holiday.

Don’t ask. It’s better that way.
 

 

7. the youngest picture you can find of yourself in digital form.

That’s my sister Erin on the left, my sister Alison in the middle, and Me on the right. I must have been about seven here? It was taken in the back of our rockin’ Dodge Caravan!

 

8. a picture of you in one of your favorite outfits.

I don’t have a favorite outfit. I do, however, have a favorite hoodie. I’m wearing it in this picture (and I’m actually wearing it right now)! It’s the softest, most comfortable thing in my closet and I wear it wayyy too often.
(And there is that dreaded uni again. Look at that disgusting neon orange color… ugh!)

10. a picture you miiiiiight have edited to make yourself more attractive.
I don’t have any! I mean, when I was like 16 I used to mess with the contrast of pictures to make things brighter and stuff… but I don’t think that it made me look more attractive. Here’s an example:

Again, taken when I was living with Bobby and Mike. I’d gone out and spent a few hundred of dollars on a new cut and color and all new make-up and brushes from the MAC store down the street. In this picture I’d just returned from having my hair and make-up done.

Me…. eating. Okay, so uni is probably the only food on the planet that I don’t enjoy eating, but whatever. The point here is that I’m doing my favorite thing on the planet and I’m with friends. How could Ibe anything but my real self when  I’m doing my favorite activity?!

I guess it’s a couple of weeks old now, but it’s the most recent one that I have uploaded.

18. a picture of a time in your life that’s over, but you wish it wasn’t.
It was almost a year ago, but the road trip that me, Dave, Rachel, and Clint took was the most amazing 10 days of my life thus far. Imagine if there were a way to bottle l that extremely fanatical, fabulous, fantastic state of happiness, excitment, and pure, unadulturated wonder for everything and everybody that surrounds you. Ugh, imagine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

19. a picture of a time in your life that’s over, and you couldn’t be more thankful that it is.

Again, freshman year of college. Oh, the stress that I put myself through with those two (my ex Chris and old friend Bryan). I’ll never forget it. I’ll never, ever forget it.

Chloe and I! Our mothers were friends in high school and were pregnant with us at the same time. We were in diapers together and had our first halloween together. We grew apart as we got older and didn’t talk at all through all of middle school. In 9th grade my friends Amy, Brittany, and I decided that we needed a new face in our close ‘group’ of friends. We decided to start inviting Chloe out with us. And it’s pretty much been that way ever since. There have been years where we hardly spoke at all and others where we were all together all of the time. I’m happy to say that Chloe and I are currently in the process of rediscovering our friendship for the third or fourth time in our lives. Though we’re not extremely close, I do know that we’ll always be there for eachother in one way or another.

 

Here’s another. It was taken when I went to visit Chloe and Amy in Savannah,GA (back when Chloe lived in Savannah).

I don’t know who my newest friend is! Is that sad? I don’t think that I have any new friends… they’re all old friends! Maybe I need to branch out more?

22. a picture of you when you were anything but happy…even if you were smiling and did your best to hide it

This was taken the night before Mike moved back to Kansas. I was going through a rough time. I had just recently broken up with Shawn and though it was totally, completely, and 100% necessary and though I, alone, had insisted on us breaking up, I was scared. Mike had been there through everything and was my closest friend. With my relationship over and Mike leaving I felt completely alone and didn’t know what to do with myself. I sobbed to the point of hyperventilation when we had to say goodbye that night. It was awful!

24. a picture of you when you were a different person than you are now.

Taken my freshman year in college. The guy next to me is my old friend Bryan. I don’t know that any of you have been reading me since the beginning of this diary (2004), but if you have then you’ll remember Bryan. If you haven’t and are on my favorites list, then feel free to read my oldest entries. A lot has changed!

In this picture I was 18 years old. I was doing a lot of drugs, was in the darkest throws of my eating disorder, failing out of college, and was the most depressed that I’ve ever been in my life.That year was the most insane year of my life, hands down. The life experiences that  I had that year shaped me into who I am today; but I’d have a hard time saying ‘no’ if I were offered the chance to erase some of it. I mean, really. I wasted so much time and I was so unhappy. It didn’t need to be that way.

 

 

 

Okay, so there were about 10 more pictures that I had at the end of this entry. For whatever reason OD keeps fucking up and deleting the last portion of the entry. I’ve gone through and re-posted the pictures three times now and it keeps deleting it. I’m not doing it again right now- it’s time consuming and I’m annoyed that it keeps getting deleted. Maybe I’ll finish this in another entry later. UGH!
