Short and sweet.

• Dave comes home today!!! Weee!! I can’t wait to see him and jump him and show him the beautiful paint job that I did on our apartment. We’re likely going to be re-painting the living room, however, because we got our rug this past weekend and the rug doesn’t look great with the wall. No concrete plans as to which color that will be, however, because although a shade of green/goldish seems like the correct answer, I don’t want green. You can see both the office and the living room from the kitchen and entrance of the apartment, and his office is red. I loathe green and red together. I think they look horrible together.
• I have a job interview in about two hours. I’m nervous as all hell. I hate job interviews. This particular job is one that I’ve been interested in some time. It’s front of house restaurant job (I know, I know, I don’t know what I’m thinking getting back into that field of work). The cool thing about this job, though, is that the restaurant specializes in local, organic foods and even their part time employees get paid vacation AND benefits. PLUS they pay a livable hourly wage PLUS you get tips. Restaurant jobs never, ever, eeevveerrrrr pay a livable hourly wage. This could be awesome.
• Have I mentioned that one of Dave and Clints old friends from high school is the assistant manager there? This could be both good and bad (good, because she knows me and I have a slightly better chance of getting hired… bad because she’s a friend of theirs and what if I fuck up? And what if she is in charge of my schedule? That’s always a touchy area.) This makes me even more eager to impress and more stressed out.
