The Other Woman.

Look in the mirror.  What do you see?

Your skin has withered.  Your hair is thin.  It lies limply on your head, the color of a dirty puddle.

Your eyebrows are almost gone.  You plucked them too much when you were younger.  Now, they are little slits that lie across your patchy forehead. Above your wrinkled eyes.

Eyes with no lashes.  Eyes with no soul.  No depth, no emotion.  Just eyes, cold and dark.

They say beauty is only skin deep.  Maybe you were beautiful one day.  But the inside of who you were and who you are, are now displayed on the outside.  For all to see.

You are ugly.  Your soul is ugly.  You are angry.  You are cruel.  You are careless and ignorant.

You hurt people.  And you don’t give it a second thought.

I hope one day you do.  I hope what you’ve done comes back to you, three-fold.

I hope one day, you get to feel the shock of your own demise.  And maybe then you will understand what it means to be human, what it means to love, and what it means to hate.

Maybe someday, you will comprehend that your actions have consequences.  Consequences visit us all.  Consequences will not treat you well.

So, try.  Try to change.  Try to become better.

Stop being who you are now and try to become the person that you think you deserve.

The damage is done.  Take what you will.

But try.
