Sunday morning….

My husband makes me chai tea. I woke to the heavenly ginger and clove scent of his special made-from-scratch brew simmering in the kitchen. Then—bathrobed and (sock monkey) slippered, I followed my nose and found Don reading his Kindle in front of the fire. “This means love.” he said. And yes, for me it does.

So now we sit like bookends on the couch, Chloe curled between us on our outstretched legs. I have my cup of Chai and my Ipad, and Don reads me occasional lines from Keats. I am nearly giddy with the heady satisfaction of various deadlines met and overwhelming projects done. My plate of obligations is nearly empty…for now.

The sun is shining on the snow outside and the day stretches ahead. I might get dressed. Maybe a movie is in store…maybe an hour or so reading an actual book…who knows?

*yawn* *stretch*

All is well in my little world, dearhearts.

Truly, a most blissful way to start one’s day!. And reading to you a line or two of Keats is so special. For a minute there, I felt a tinge of envy…:o) Warm hugs

Perfect memory of a perfect moment!

This will be my last entry ever as they have one of those distorted letter grid you have to type in and my dyslexia can’t read this. Sorry……BRO

I somehow missed this one, but the sense of sweet satisfaction emanating from this not only fills me with vicarious peace and harmony, but makes me realize why you might not feel compelled to write here… 🙂 But I’m sure glad you’re still noting! And speaking of which, ryn: Many thanks! If YOU, of all people, consummate artist that you are, appreciated it, my creative cup overfloweth! 🙂
