Got my first order from the Ontario Cannabis Store today. Ordered on the 17th of April and, despite Canada Post delays due to Covid-19, it arrived at my post office yesterday. I got an email saying the package had been delivered and instructions to pick it up, showing ID to prove I'm of age, at&h...

Though, I have to admit, the past few days have been a little tougher than normal because I had my period over the weekend and all the wonderful pain and grumpiness accompanying that. • Day to Day in The Upside Down
    April 16, 2020
I am enjoying the lockdown - no pressure to People when it's not allowed = no guilt! - and, honestly, I will be sad when it is over (happy people are safer, of course. yadda yadda). But our days are pretty monotonous, I have to say that. Weekdays, hubby gets up around 8:30 to start…

  • Easter 2020. The weirdest Easter ever.
    April 12, 2020
And so went the weirdest Easter in living memory... No Easter goodies were purchased save for one large chocolate rabbit that I bought in mid-March and delivered with groceries to our friends who just had twins - in other words, long before Easter. I didn't think it was worth the time in public o...

    April 9, 2020
Sadly? I am not that bothered by all of this isolation. I am revelling in it with a kind of glee, to be honest. You mean the government says I am not allowed to go out and be around people????? I'M ALL IN. I have always been an introvert. I've always been able to entertain…

  • The Pandemic Begins…
    March 26, 2020

In January we started hearing snippets of news items from China about a mysterious new illness putting people in the hospital. At the beginning of flu season here, it wasn't something to which I gave much serious...

    April 12, 2018
A week late but, since I've had such a shitty first TWO weeks of April, I figure I need all the help I can get. In no particular order. My husband.  Given my last entry, I'm sure that will surprise everyone. There's more to all of that, BTW. Just don't have it in me to…
