The ultrasound tech today was brilliant despite the news not being positive. I wish I had gone to this clinic and had her for my first ultrasound. She was very friendly, pleasant and professional. Since my requisition clearly stated "failed pregnancy?" I didn't expect much bedside manner or detai...

OB was a guy so I was skeptical how that was gonna go considering my past experiences with male gynos... but he was FANTASTIC. Quite a good experience considering the bad news. The pregnancy is 99% a No-Go in his opinion, based on all of my results including 2 more recent blood tests where my&hel...

I just want to know. One way or the other, I just want to know and be done with it. If it's viable, let's get on with things. If it's not, get it out and give me pain meds. Right now the only good I can see of it not working out is that I…

Am I hungry or am I gonna barf? Who knows. True to the style of my life, I've had an interesting pregnancy experience so far. In January, Aunt Flow was scheduled to visit on the 13th. On the 9th, I had cramping and brown spotting like I was going to get my period a bit…

Got my first order from the Ontario Cannabis Store today. Ordered on the 17th of April and, despite Canada Post delays due to Covid-19, it arrived at my post office yesterday. I got an email saying the package had been delivered and instructions to pick it up, showing ID to prove I'm of age, at&h...

Still enjoying being on lockdown! Though, I have to admit, the past few days have been a little tougher than normal because I had my period over the weekend and all the wonderful pain and grumpiness accompanying that. Also Hubby has been getting a bit more annoyed than usually with his work peeps...

I am enjoying the lockdown - no pressure to People when it's not allowed = no guilt! - and, honestly, I will be sad when it is over (happy people are safer, of course. yadda yadda). But our days are pretty monotonous, I have to say that. Weekdays, hubby gets up around 8:30 to start…

I started listening to podcasts and doing the spotify thing for music since the pandemic started. I feel like a dinosaur, just shy of my 40th birthday. lol Anyway, currently listening to Alex Wagner's Six Feet Apart podcast about rituals where they are discussing death and funerals during this ti...

  • Easter 2020. The weirdest Easter ever.
    April 12, 2020
And so went the weirdest Easter in living memory... No Easter goodies were purchased save for one large chocolate rabbit that I bought in mid-March and delivered with groceries to our friends who just had twins - in other words, long before Easter. I didn't think it was worth the time in public o...
