A few more things;
1. I sent out 5 books today. It’ll take about a week to ship. My dumb ass forgot to send the book to the contest winner! Ugh! I’ll send it on Monday. I can’t believe I forgot that.
2. I spent all of today (except for the last hour or so) with a TERRIBLE MIGRAINE. I’m talking AWFUL. I could barely think straight (might be why I forgot the winners book). I hope I don’t keep getting those. They are awful.
3. Jon had his therapy appt. It broke my heart. He is dealing with a lot of stuff regarding his bio dad. He cried and said he thinks he’s the reason why he ran away. God I could just choke that mother fucker. Jon has never met his dad, his dad has never seen Jon, not ONCE. Not even when he was born. It’s not Jon’s fault. He goes back in 2 weeks for a one on one session, that’s exactly what I wanted for him. I hope it helps. We’re also doing an ADHD assessment. I’m not going to put him on meds, but he may get a plan that will allow him extra home work help and longer time to finish assignments and tests. I think that would benefit him a lot.
I’m struggling with some serious guilt about Jon’s dad. I wish he had just given knowing his son a try. I am selfish because I’ve NEVER had to share Jonathon (or Jacob really), so I don’t know how I’d be handling that now, but maybe my son would know his bio dad and not feel like he was the reason for anything as devastating as making him not want to be around. Jon doesn’t need that. I think he’s ok, but he holds a lot in. My poor baby.
4. I had the BEST DINNER. I had a half a bead roll, tri tip, baby back ribs, a giant TREE of steamed broccoli and SWEET POTATO FRIES. I am now officially addicted to those fries and my blood sugar was 87!!!!! I attribute that to the large amount of fiber I ate.
I’m very happy about that. Because the meal was delicious!
I am in love with Sweet Potato Fries.
5. We spent money we don’t have on video games. We hae a serious problem. The baby will fix it. The baby will come first.
6. I’ve been feeling things inside of my belly. I know it’s nugget. Even though they say it will be a few more months, I know I can feel my little one moving around in there. I wish I could see HER every day (I don’t know if its a her, but I’m sending the vibes out! lol)
7. They rented out the house before we could go see it. I have a feeling this will be a big problem because we can’t run and see a house the day we see the ad. It’s too long of a drive. I think we need a realtor. I don’t want to stress out about it, ya know?
8. I might collect a days worth of urine tomorrow. Isn’t that awesome?

Poor kid. *huggles to Jon* One thing I wish more kids understood was that most times the things people say and do (or don’t do, as the case goes) are more about them than you. YAY NUGS! Yeah… Honey Badger Don’t Care! He Takes What He WANTS… except the BCS title. HA!

More time to finish tests alone would probably be GREAT! I need that! But you have to jump through 500 hoops to get that in university.. I hope as he gets older he does realize that some dads have something wrong with THEM that makes them bad dads, not the other way around. It doesn’t always make it easier knowing that though; I think sometimes you still wish you’d had your real dad being one.

Sweet potato fries are absolutely amazing. There is a recipe for sweet potato and carrot fries that is also really amazing…. I’ll have to find the recipe for you. I’m sorry to hear about Jon, but you have nothing to feel guilty about. I never knew my father either, and everything Jon is feeling is a normal thing for kids that don’t know their father. It’s good that you’re putting help out there for him, and I’m sure it will help. Just getting those feelings out helps. He’s gonna be okay. I can’t wait to meet HER 😀 (I do the same thing.. I call my little Buglet “him” all the time heh).

Sigh… I understand how you feel about Jonathon and the dad situation, but you did the best you could under the circumstances. It is not your fault. I don’t for a second believe that. I imagine you being the person, that if his dad was a good person, good to you and worthy of your son, your circumstance would be entirely different. Things happen. It sucks that it happened to you and it sucks that it also happened to your kid. Just hope and pray he can get through this, knowing that you are the best mommy ever and now he has a great male role model in his life, taking over the dad role. I want a honey badger shirt too. 🙂

realtors don’t cost anything if you’re only buying. the seller pays both realtor fees. since you guys are renting right now and thinking about buying def. get a realtor. actually, get like 3 going and see who you and will like best.i want to give jon a hug right now. he’s thinking way too much for a little guy. and don’t you feel guilty either. it’s his bio dad’s problem that he’s missing out.it’s not your fault or jon’s. *hugs*
