my stomach is screaming
I need to be more mindful of my blood sugar.
As I mentioned, I’m on SUPER DIET FEST 2009 right now. So that means really being hardcore about what I’m eating. In my case, this means more portion control than portion denial. ha ha. Though I am sorta going on a salads for dinner kick… 4 nights out of the week MUST be salad. I got some good stuff for it, so i’m actually excited about it! ha ha…
So my breakfasts are usually really small. I should probably do more, but when I get in to work, thinking about eating is the last thing on my mind and it’s just enough to give myself a little bowl of dry cereal to munch as I go about my business (of not working ha ha)… anyway…
friday and now today my blood sugar has plummeted noticeably. Not only am I starving right now, but i’m lightheaded and dizzy and very shakey.
I know this is low blood sugar and I should probably plan for a mid morning snack from now on.
My caloric intake for all my meals today is around 940, give or take.
this is bad.
I should have at LEAST 1200. BUT NO MORE THAN 1550… to lose weight.
well, that means i definitely have room for more food in the mornings.
and i only brought it up to 940 by adding more croutons and dressing to my salad at dinner… that i probably won’t add… but whatever.
maybe i can splurge and have one of my low fat ice creams! mmmm.
love those.
anyway, so ii’m shakey and wobbly and my vision keeps blurring. it’s not cool.
must. eat. more.
who would think my diet craze would be so hard core so soon.
I’m also drinking water and yummy lemon tea.
I must get more of this lemon tea.
it’s delicious!
anyway, lunch in 15 minutes. yay!
diet meal and a granola bar.
sorta boo, but this basil cream chicken pasta is SO GOOD. I wish I could eat TWO portions.
but i’ll eat slow and enjoy.
so good tho.

so i just found out i totally flaked on my aunt this weekend and I feel HORRIBLE about it. I didn’t mean to! I know we had a date to go hang out at their house but I thought it was on the 7th and she had it set for the 28th! oops!
so I’m gonna try to go over there this next weekend. I know I’d rather have stayed home, but this is family and it cheers her to see the boys. so we will go! plus she has christmas presents for them!
baboo told me he is doing a photo shoot on saturday so at least it works out where we won’t "miss" each other.
I totally miss him more than he misses me.
oh well.

you should eat more breakfast..it kicks up your metabolism. And if you eat some sort of protein for breakfast, you won’t get as hungry.

eat a GOOD breakfast and cut back on the rest. the other noter is right – getting a good and healthy breakfast that makes you FULL boosts your energy and metab. so that you can burn more calories and whatnot later on in the day. now i know i don’t follow this either, cuz i drink a chocolate milk for breakfast every day and that’s it, but JUST SAYING. haha 🙂

Yeah, I have the same problem with my blood sugar plummeting in the mornings from too small of a breakfast. My doctor said adding some form of protein to it is the best because your body will burn it more slowly.

Dude… gotta watch that BS (blood sugar, lol, not bull shit). I haven’t had a coke since… last Tuesday/Wednesday… but I have been averaging about 44-60oz of tea and 20oz of water. I need to get more water, less tea… but hell, no soda is no soda…

when trying to loose weight the true rule of thumb is to burn more calories than you take in…therefore increase the activity and that way you can increase your calorie intake and you will feel SOO much better. trust me…your body looses more weight when its not starving.
