RIP Jeremy

Saturday I attended the funeral of another co-worker. He was only 32 years old. About 2 years ago he was diagnosed with Lou Gerick’s disease. The disease progressed quickly and he was forced to retire from firefighting within a few months of his diagnosis. He left behind two young daughters who he talked about all the time. He was strong willed right up until the day he passed.
