Falling Stop Signs
I woke up today feeling much better about life. Not quite 100% get up and go, but not the blargh I have been feeling the past few days. I headed to school as per usual and while following traffic signs, had a stop sign fall on the hood of my car. Thankfully it just barely scraped the front edge, but $275 worth of damage. I had been planning on spending my morning working on my LRW assignment, but instead spent it calling to determine liability, and getting a quote, and papers submitted. I need to make an appointment for the repair, but the company who is responsible for the sign is going to take care of it. However, I felt so overwhelmed, I went ahead and used one of my “do not call on me” days. My first. Prof. Conger was extremely nice to me when I spoke to him about it, and was very encouraging that I appear to really like and be doing well in law school. I feel like it shouldn’t matter, but between his comments, and Eby’s comments the other day about my excellent writing and participation, it has taken an edge off of the pressure. In theory. Cause I
m not sure that I feel significantly less pressured.
