Chicken chicken every where

 One of the local churches is doing a fund raiser for my cousin. She’s gone through treatment for  cancer. She had owned an embroidery business for about ten years. She ended up,selling it to her brother and nephew for almost nothing. She had some really established customers, so she took a loss, but there’s some major history there.  She had dropped her insurance somewhere in there because she couldn’t afford it. Now she’s faced with all sorts of medical bills and no way to pay them. She’s very active in the community and always does everything she can to help others, so many got together and decided to help her. They did a raffle and now are selling gumbo. I didn’t do well selling raffle tickets. (I AM so not a natural seller.) so she called and said they needed help getting the gumbo ready. I said sure. We headed down yesterday evening and for almost 5 hours I broke down chicken. (Pulling the skin and bones then chopping them.) there were at least 30 of them. I’m so freaking over chicken! Lol  it felt good to be able to help. She’s done so much for others. It was good to give to her.
