Chloe had her baby girl!!

Alexa Suzanne Paige was born 10 days overdue on 10/23/2010 at 1:23 am. She is 9lbs, 3oz and 22.75 inches long. She has looong fingers and lots dark hair. I think that she looks just like her dad. 🙂

She hadn’t had a bath yet, here so we kept her hat on. I’ll take more photos at a later date- you’ll be able to see it then.

When Julian was born last year I showed up at the hospital only an hour or so after he was born with this ridiculous stork balloon:

It was huge. And hilarious. And it WOULD NOT DIE. Literally 3 1/2 months after Julian was born the balloon was still sitting in their living room. It became an ongoing joke- Chloe thought that it would never die and that they’d be stuck with it forever.

So…. of course I had to get them another one. lol.

Of course this one says, "It’s a girl!" and is pink. I called the balloon store at told them that I wanted the biggest, most hilariously tacky balloon arrangement that they could make- and that it absolutely had to have a stork. When I showed up I found an arrangement of 6 giant balloons: bottles, stars, pink and glittery hearts… with the giant stork floating above all of the rest.

I also went to Baby Gap for some cute little dresses (because I HAD to buy wee little dresses):

I love spots and dots.

A little cowl neck sweater dress

And a little pair of black leggings that could go with either dress

Oh my god I am just in love. I want to bring her home with me and dress her up like a little doll in a million little outfits. And someday soon she’ll be able to have PONYTAILS!!! PIGTAILS!!! We’ll get to paint her nails!! Eeeeeeeeee!!!

On an unrelated side note: I found TEN DOLLAR LARGE YANKEE CANDLES  at the TJ Maxx Homegoods store a few miles from my place. These are the candles that usually cost $30 or so…but they’re the best candles. They smell the best (burning them for only a few minutes will fill your whole home with yumminess), they burn the best (slowly- they last forever), and they don’t burn black…. you know what I’m talking about if you’ve ever used cheap candles in your home. $10! Definitely the best find of the month for me.

Congratulations! Those outfits are ADORABLE. And those candles are a STEAL. We have an awesome TJ Maxx here; I should go check it out!

Omg. Those dresses are exactly why I wanted a girl!!! Ooh and the ponytails and the pigtails and the painting nails… I guess I’ll just have to try again 😀 I LOVE YANKEE CANDLES. I’m tempted now to go to my TJ Maxx to see if I can find any!
