BOY AM I GRATEFUL

It’s that time of year again.  All those truly wonderful fattening foods are here: Turkey, stuffing, pie, whipped cream.  My mouth is watering right now.  Shortly we are off to Vons/Safeway to buy butter and other foods.  George wants to serve Red Lobster Biscuits at Thanksgiving dinner.  I suggested he try a batch first.  I can do pie and whipped cream without trying it first.

As a Thanksgiving offering, I share with you this photo of me looking out the back window of the cottage.  Frankie, my old neighbor, and I, have put together a traditional Thanksgiving meal for family and friends.  The cottage would seat about five.  Total.  The back yard could seat fifty or so, and that’s where we had it.

Here I am with a glass of Rose’ in my hand.  I don’t look too bad, but in three years I would be near death from my Alcoholism.  All these years later, I can tell you that getting well is certainly worth every bit of the struggle.

Hey lots of code but the links aren’t working!

November 20, 2017

The links work. They just have to be pasted into a browser first.

The unordered list tags, now they aren’t working.

The turkey looks delicious.

Yummy! Wish we could eat outside, but, it’s Minnesota and too cold, lol.

Oh gosh. Anything that requires going to the store for butter first, sign me up! Happy Thanksgiving!
