Update on weird noise

Since I’ve been home, I haven’t caught anything unusual on the security cameras (we do have a lot of them) except the usual cat that wanders through, and the squirrels that went into panic mode due to the weather change. I did smudge my living space and salted my entryway like any good witch should, so if it was paranormal they probably went on with their ghost selves. if it was human, and they know that I’m home, they probably don’t want to fuck around while I’m here, because I  will hurt a motherfucker.  If we were “hacked” they probably moved on to freak out other people.  I am eager to see if something happens after I leave on Thursday to dogsit again. 

Now back to your regularly scheduled entry 

I’ve been bad about doing blogs, vlogs, or any kind of documentation of my boring fucking life. I don’t have a very good reason except that when I try to do a tiktok here at home I usually get shit about it. Doesn’t excuse the laziness of not writing though.

So! New year, new book, new playlist. Feel free to listen to any of my stuff. Most of my playlists are public on Spotify. Just don’t be too surprised by the different genres. I can have Megadeth next to Brittany Spears. I’ll have everything but country. I’m not a huge fan of it. I think I might have a country-rap on this list though. Not sure.

Of course I’ll be adding songs to the list all year. If you have any musical suggestions for me, please please please tell me. I’m always looking for good music, and there’s so many artists out there that I don’t know of.

Life has been rather boring. I’ve been home since the 26th, and I didn’t have anything scheduled pet-sitting-wise until the end of January, but the basenji humans got in touch with me about sitting for their sister who just moved here from Tuscon. I need the money, so I said yes. They were supposed to leave today to go gather up more stuff to bring to their new place, but we had a little snowstorm this weekend and had to reschedule their flight. I told them the other day that they might want to stay at a hotel near the airport due to the storm and have me start early seeing that the road to their place is a dirt road, and not in good shape dry, nevermind with ice and snow. They (lol lol) said they weren’t worried because “aw the snow doesn’t last long” . Dude. The temps aren’t going to get above freezing all week, so…. Thankful they kinda listened to me about it. I’m still worried about getting up the hill Thursday, but I guess I’ll do my best.

Hindsight being what it is, I should have asked if I could bring my stuff up before the storm hit. Because there’s no way I’ll walk with all my shit I take with me if I somehow can’t get there in my vehicle. .. except my purse and tablet. I’d take those lol

Anyhoo.

I hope everyone had a peaceful hellidaze season. I’m gonna put on my boots and try to do a bit of a vlog out in the snow.
