Wind blows through my mind

I didn’t find out that I had bipolar disorder until I was 60 yrs old. I had to 2-3 episodes since I was 35. I just can’t get past REM sleep, waking frequently in the night. My brain just doesn’t turn off at night. I can describe it as “wind blowing through my mind “.
