you could go to day labor places. the jobs aren’t always hard ones and you can say no to any of them. but, it would be a small amount coming in. they pay minimum but they usually have a number of jobs. there aren’t many full time jobs out there. the economy is just too bad. i think employers are more willing to hire part time so they don’t have to pay insurance and other benefits. prayers you findsomething soon. take care,

what gray said is unfortunately true around my area most places don’t even take applications anymore you have to go thru the labor place they hire for 90 then let you go on the 89th day so they don’t have to pay any benefits on you.. lol then turn around an rehire you after the let you go for another 90 days if they liked your work.. not many ppl actually get hired full time 🙁

Unbelievable. Who wrote that? Wankers! I’m wondering what skills you have. Are you able to become self employed in some way? Just a suggestion. Start doing odd jobs for friends/neighbours etc., and before you know it, you’ll be in high demand. I dunno. Worth a try maybe? G~

The reality is that if a person has well toned and specific skills that are in demand, then they can still get decent work. A Registered Nurse specilizing in geriatrics or had a surgical specialty background can write their own ticket and find work anywhere where people live and get paid well for it.
