France 3
No real organised thoughts to post… that are worth the effort, that is. Lots to write about, but I’m kinda tired and have these pictures of France to post.
Let’s see some of the French countryside, shall we?

Have I ever mentioned that my former wife loves trees? I mean, good thing we picked Oregon, isn’t it? At first, I wanted to go to Arizona or New Mexico, because they are places of great beauty. It became clear that those weren’t necessarily good choices, and we liked Oregon. K* had Home-Stayed here in her high school days. I’d been here before and liked what I saw. Oregon has some of everything – deserts, forests, the seaside, urban life, an International Airport. Here in Northern Oregon, there are a few trees around here (ok, this is like, a massive understatement) so it was a good place for her
She has an eye for trees, and in the next posting, we’ll see some real French trees.

Are those birds nests in the lower photo? They look kind of like Dr. Seuss trees.
