Huh
Huh. Maybe seven years is O.L.D. for a computer. I’ve added memory and a better power supply and video and audio cards and a second internal drive. It’s like The Best computer I’ve ever had.
But that seven years is apparently a big deal to like, electronics.
Adding three USB drives could be like, extending the system too much. Course, two of them filled up pretty fast, but the 2 Tb drive should cover me for awhile, I guess. Thats like, 2,000 Gb, so it’s an immense amount of space to sort out the two smaller drives (and to make sure they all have the same pic files on them).
It turns out it’s a bit of work.
I had to reformat the machine awhile back – thank god for the USB drives, eh? so messing with this stuff isn’t like, too far out there for me, but O.M.G. it takes a looong time to do all that stuff, which is like, dead-time for me.
K* called last night. The pics – prints and a 32 Gb thumb drive – got there, two weeks or so after I mailed them. Her mom’s B-Day card, which I mailed at the same time, got there in six days. Guess Customs had to make sure I wasn’t sending like, pornography or something.
It’s the drive checks that take forever; I’ve had the system checking and fixing the first USB drive I got for the last couple of hours.
Fills the time, anyway. Not much else happening right now.

We took a LOT of pictures and most of them are like, pretty good. "Beyond Wakeena" Falls just has to see some more of what we saw. Our Western Aeroplane And Automobile Museum visits have several posts to make still.
Storms touching down in the mid-west right now, the news says. Warnings of a Deadly High End Event are being issued.
Huh. All I’ve gotta do is wait for my old computer to do stuff. It could be worse.

It always amazes me to think about how long it takes to send things to other countries. You would think it would be more efficient by now.

Post times are strange indeed. My brain just cannot compute (‘scuse the pun) that amount of memory in a PC. I know nothing about computers and so when things go wrong then that’s it for me. I need to either pay out to fix or buy a new one. Best wishes, A

Hi! it’s great that K got all those memories to share with her family. They should keep them entertained for quite a while!!i suppose her mother wishes she could have made the trip with K so she could have seen the beautiful scenery for herself!i looked at the previous page. My mum’s first car was an Austin 7 back when she was just a little girl in England. It was hand cranked but also had a key.

Me again! I love old cars. They have such beautiful shapes and curved lines that give them so much character, unlike the boxes on wheels we drive today,Lol.People seemed to have lost the gift of making things pretty so they can get the stream lined efficiency for economical fuel consumption.I guess saving money comes before beauty these days!
