Monday 1-19

It is a Beautiful day.  Beee you tiful!

I’ve got three sets of rechargables topped off.  I’ve got a 500 Mg photo card in the camera, completley bare.  Space for many hundreds of pictures.

(I’m thinking that even though my Nikon Coolpix works fine that I need to think about an 8 to 10 megapixil camera. 8Mg is equivalent to 35mm film in resolution, and given that I take a good picture and would like to make some $ off them, a high res camera is needed… and won’t cost much more than I paid for the one I have now in 05)

We are going to Bridal Veil Falls in The Gorge.  I haven’t been to the falls in  a few years, but I was there in the parking lot with my then new car last February – there is a post or 3 on the car in Gorge in February here last year.

"Last year".  Time goes by, doesn’t it?

I drove her over 10,000 miles last year.  In case no one got it, I love my Cali-Blue, my second new vehicle in this life.  Because of expenses, I couldn’t make the payment due Saturday but payday for the buses is this week, and I’ll pay my bill on line, and there is a 10 day grace period – no repo men are going to take my car.

But that’s later.  Today, the Columbia Gorge.

Incidentally, Blacky Cat did not wake me up this morning because by the time I walked up to the store and got back, he didn’t have time to finish the Iamms can before I got up this morning, at 8am, not 5.

Tomorrow, it’s back to work, pretty much a 12 hour day, as Wednesday and Thursday will be… but today, Great Beauty awaits me.
