Patience, grasshopper

Last week, I wrote here that I was, umm, outa luck with the bank, and wrote earlier today that it looked like it would be awhile before I could get the van into the shop.

I went downstairs on my way to the store to pick up my check, and stopped in the lobby to check my mail.  I found my favorite kind of mail waiting for me there – money in the mail.

Not money, really, but a piece of plastic worth a thousand bucks,

The van is going in the shop tomorrow and I scored points with the boss, getting a loan to keep my van on the road.  I’ll score points at least with myself too – I can pay back the ODer I was seeing last year, instead of writing "ya know I would if I could, but…", I will just send that money order right along.

The sun is out, the temperature is such that my balcony door has been open all afternoon, and most everything is, like, OK with my world.  Today is another day.

Finally…you get the break you need to handle things in your own way. It’s about time.

Have been reading along about your situation and thinking about what you are going thru…and today your “fix” came in! Was quite pleased to read that. Not that I had anything to do with your reversal of fortune, but I figured it didn’t hurt to light candles for a friend in need…smiling…good for you Cat. ~the feline~

It looks darkest…..right b4 the shine. Good Cat, I’m happy for you. YOU serious deserve a break.

oh, that is good news! congratulations!

Oh good deal!! Seems like something generally comes along to get us out of the rough spots–after we’ve been suitably stressed out by them, of course! Enjoy that rare sunshine, my friend!

I always said that you were a lucky duck. LOL
