Renaming this life
It occurs to me that I should rename the title of my life story. The one I am living now.
The chapters here in this diary are called, among other things, "notes on Life xxxx" (x = year)
This diary itself has one title now that I’ve always really liked: "Sometimes a great notion".
Sometimes it is.
A Great Notion, that is. The new name, the one I’ve been thinking of for a long time, is:
"Take it as it comes"
That’s kind of the way things have worked out; I have not tried real hard to direct the path of this life.
I’ve pretty much "Taken as it comes".
Am taking it as it comes.
I’m here to observe things. Maybe learn some stuff.

Fall, the season, showed up last week and is pretty much here to stay for awhile.
It’s been one of the best Octobers here that I can remember – lots of clear weather, showing the beauty that we live here for in it’s best light, so to speak.
I’ve been busy being here now.
Now is the only moment that really counts anyway.

good to hear from you, was beginning to worry, as you always write pretty frequently and i wasn’t seeing any new entries showing up—of course, the way OD is going….Glad that you’ve been busy and have enjoyed the best October that you can remember. It seems to be an exceptionally pretty October around my neighborhood as well.

I’d be living in Oregon at retirement, too, if my children didn’t live back east. Alas, one in North Carolina, and the other in Ohio, makes it imperative that I move in their direction.
