Thanksgiving Day, 2012

I didn’t get no tee shirt from this event, but I got to keep my life, and that’s ok, and is even better than some rag.
I know most of my readers do not understand Japanese, and that’s ok, these images speak for themselves clearly and without an accent.
At 4:08 in the video, you will see the neighborhood south of mine, which was completely destroyed.

At 6 minutes the focus shifts to Tokyo, which experienced a catastrophic earthquake in 1924 with killed tens of thousands of Japanese and shows the memorial erected in their memories. Thanksgiving? Every fuc ing day is Thanksgiving. I am alive, today.
