The best shots X

Here we are, halfway through the last month of the year 2007.

It’s a real Sci-Fi year for me; I never thought I’d live past the turn of the century, and I was almost right; the car crash in 1998 nearly killed me, but for some reason, here I am, nearly as good as ever, and it’s almost 2008.  Wow.

I’ve been living on time I never thought I had, and ya know what?  It’s been pretty cool.  I’ve gotten to shine here and to show off some pictures that, in my not at all humble opinion, are really good.  Had I not made it then, I wouldn’t be here now, and the following pictures would have either never been taken or would have ended up in the trash, unappreciated for their beauty.

Yeah.  No small ego here for pictures, is there?

This life has been pretty good to me, and excellent since that car wreck.  This time might have been unforeseen by me, but, it’s pretty damn fine altogether, and I’m liking my life these days.

I have a good place to live, a good job, a big black cat, and this computer and this camera to show things I see.

What more could I reasonably ask for, hmmm?

Oh sure, that’s a lot more I could ask for, but I’ve got enough for a happy life now, and that’s pretty close to good enough for me.

And – AND, I got my life back from that car wreck; it’s all gravy after that.  It’s VERY important to recognise ENOUGH, and to appreciate what you’ve got NOW.
