Cool pic of the boys with the big guy in red…

The good news is my boys got their picture taken with Santa Claus (well an good imposter of SA) earlier this week. We went to mall to pick up a few things and Ethan saw him before I could do anything, and the next thing I know I’m forking over $28 bucks for a handful of photos. Nice…

This weekend was supposed to be the grand opening of the Christmas exhibit in downtown hamilton. Another SA impersonator was going to be there, along with rides and best of all… reindeer for the kids to pet and feed. Ethan had been looking forward to seeing them all week, only to find out that the Reindeer part had been indifintely cancelled. Turns out the animal lovers of PETA threatened to hold a massive in person protest of the exhibit if they kept the Reindeers there. So Ethan didn’t get to see or feed them, which kinda bummed him out. And a handful of Reindeers are not going to get pet and feed a crapload of good food this weekend. Oh well…

It’s been a good weekend so far. The wind has been really low, making the weather perfect for taking the boys for a walk to do some shopping. I hit the farmer’s market and got some fresh veggies for Leah who wants to make Chilli tonight. I also got some chesses that I love nibbling on. Some mild Colby, a homemade cheese ball for crackers and some cheese curds. Hmmmmmmmm…. Cheese Curds!

So that’s the brief update from here. Hope everyone else is having a great weekend and to finish this off, here is the photo of my boys taken with the big man earlier this week! Enjoy…

Feeding & petting animals? How UNethical. I only dare to think that they might also have affection felt towards them. Turns my gut, I tell ya. The horrors of it all.

You have adorable children

The boys practically look like twins – it’s so cute!! The Boo goes nuts whenever she encounters a Santa Claus… or a snowman, or a reindeer, or a Christmas tree… she’s going nuts a lot this month! But she’s still a bit nervous around the real article – or the mall variation on the real article. She prefers her Santas to be either lifeless, or at a distance. 🙂

The Boo LOVES Santa Claus. The Majorette took her to a church Christmas party when The Auditor was busy; all the other kids her age were afraid, while she made a beeline for his lap and chatted with him for ages!!
