If you could change one choice you made in your life, what would it be?

When I was around 25 years old I saught out a private tutor to get me back in shape to play professionally.  I had not played much since the passing of my father as he was my greatest inspiration.  We worked hard for a couple of hours, the tutor and I. Before leaving I asked if she could get me to the philharmonic?  She replied with a no but…. she could get me to a chamber orchestra.

Out of sheer youthful stubbornness I never went back and packed my flute away.

If I had to do it over again I would still be playing with a chamber orchestra today.

NOTE:  I am playing in a local orchestra now  and I love my life regardless… but…🤔
