My Design/Novel Update

My eyes are
Inside the void
A darkness
Where there is no escape
A red hourglass
Flashes before my mind
And the venom
Brings me back to life

I’m stiff and dead
A black widow
Is in my head
My eyes poke out
And fall inside
The holes in my heart
Paralyzed
And I can’t save myself
As I’m ripped apart

I cannot see
The two hands in front of me
How can I survive
And walk the distance of time
When I don’t know
What is alive
As I become trapped
In my own design

My novel is coming along nicely ;). I am on page 30, and I have written 9,250 words so far.
