Mt. Vernon is on I-44 halfway between Joplin and Springfield. I can understand being bored with your town – there’s very little here in MV, heck I think we have a whopping population of about 5,000 people 🙂 It’s a great place to raise my daughter though and I have family here.

RYN: you posting a “normal” erotic entry and getting reamed for it. I’m surprised that people were mean about it. Usually anything with a sexual theme is well received 😉 I think it’s very hard to write erotica that will appeal to both men and women. With men being visually-oriented and women being feeling-oriented (generally speaking), it’s hard (for me) to find the right words.

Speaking of finding the right words, one of the hardest things for me was naming body parts. In most erotica written for men, women don’t have “breasts” they have “boobs” or “tits”. Yet when I read erotica geared towards women, it’s always “breasts” and never something like “tits”. *sigh* That’s why I’m a computer programmer and not a writer. I don’t have to worry about what words to use 😉
