Unintentional Weight Loss

Last week at this time I weighed 207lb. This morning I weighed myself and I weighed 198lb. I believe the weight loss is due to the infection in my mouth; hard work and stress and huge change in diet since tooth extracted. I am preparing meals with a food processor and need to be careful what I eat. Food is not bad when made the consistency of baby food. I get the nutrition and that is what is important. A lot of make shift weird stuff. Using yogurt a lot after grinding oatmeal, banana and blueberries for breakfast. Soup yesterday done similar. For lunch, microwaved a potato and broccoli. Added chicken broth and parsley. Ground that up into a paste. Scrambled eggs side dish. Now eating and orange, apple, blueberries with bit of yogurt. Ground up. Drinkable. I have no teeth bottom left side of mouth. Extraction on right lower side. Cannot chew at all. We have to adapt and do what we can. I am grateful to life that it is ONLY a tooth extracted and not a large cut or facial disfigurement. Instead of bitching and self pity I see it as part of life and need to think of others worse off. There are people in this world that would look at my weird meals and think they were in heaven for having it. There are many that can laugh at my irritation with the facial pain and concern about things getting worse BECAUSE THEY HAVE IT WORSE. I need to take this attitude with me through the remainder of my life. When I am next hospitalized, I need to look at the care givers and ask if I CAN HELP THEM.
