understanding

[]

today, i asked sawyer to go get his milk. he looked at it. i asked him to get his drink and he got down (standing with the couch) and went and got it!  i just never know what that boy is going to understand.

i got him a baby sled yesterday so we’ll probably go out later and give it a try. i think he’ll love it. he likes his ride-on car, so i can see the sled going over very well. we got him a snow suit that fits as well; we might keep the other one but even though he will be 2 next winter, i don’t know if i see it fitting him then. we might exchange it; we can’t decide. we also got a big sled for sunday. dennis and sawyer will be tobogganing with sawyer’s cousins (and grandparents and uncles); i hate winter sports but i might go and take some pictures.

i had a nice day shopping with my mom. the dietician was good too. she said she wanted all her clients to maintain over christmas and i have–i stayed exactly the same weight. she looked over my food diary and said that as long as i keep doing what i’m doing, i will lose weight. it will be lost very slowly but it will come off.

just a short entry. i might do some more updating later. now i think i’ll hop in the shower and see if the hubby feels dirty too (get your minds out of the gutter; i’m talking pure as the driven snow innocent showering off any dirt he might have acquired in class this morning.)

I am glad you had a nice day shopping. We’re supposed to get some snow tomorrow finally, so I too was hoping to score a sled. It should be a fun time playing in the snow!

🙂 Yay for sledding, that sounds like so much fun. Back in the day one of my trainers once told me that when people lose weight slow and steady it’s much healthier for them and they are more likely to keep it off. So good for you, you’re doing great!

RYN: Yeah, it’d probably be cheaper for both of us to just buy new sofas, huh? Ha! I did take a pic of the spider so be warned! I looooove pasta, I wish I were eating it right now! I could live on pasta and pizza…both great things for ya 🙂 I don’t really wanna get any smaller, just more toned, but not as toned as I was before either.
