It’s been a rough couple weeks.

Yep.  It’s been a rough couple weeks in the world of splatito.

With the death of my friend’s Chris and Melissa, it’s been rough.  Chris was only 17 when he was killed in a car accident a couple weeks ago and Melissa was my age and died about a month after a car accident.  She left behind a newborn son Joseph and her husband Bob.  It’s been rough on everyone.

Ryan has also been a challenge.  He’s a little cuddler, which is great…except when one of us needs to use the bathroom, get the mail, eat dinner or heaven forbid, sleep.  He will have none of that.  Diana and I are getting pretty wiped out and are getting awfully short tempered.  Lack of sleep and a screaming child will do that to ya I guess. 

My brother and his wife are coming to visit today.  The sitter is lined up and we’re going out on the town.  Hopefully, we won’t fall asleep.  Wishful thinking I know.   It’ll be fun though.  It’s been a rough 2 weeks and Diana and I both need a little break, even if it is for only 2 hours or so.
