If it’s not one thing it’s another thing

It seems that everything in the house is falling apart..

First, the Bissel carpet cleaner chit it’s pants. We really really need this cleaner because there are two big doggies that spread dirt all over the house. It wasn’t my idea to have walltowall white carpet–blame that on husband’s ex wife. We have gone through 3 of these cleaners in the last 6 years. We’re trying to magically find some money to buy a new one. We decided not to invite anyone over to the house until we get a new cleaner. Will have to keep the mothr in law at bay on the front porch.

If that isn’t bad it gets much worse…

my new laptop–bite the dust. screen would freeze up and with the new Vista operating system there is no Alt-Ctl=Delete. You’re really chit out luck. So I would have to take out the battery to restart the computer again. This happen time and time again until finally it starting screwing up my wireless service upstairs. So basically I was running up and down the stairs rebooting my router in hopes the computer would burp and everthing would be ok-but no It could never be that easy. I ended up taking it to the Geeks–and yes(!) if you’re wondering these guys really do look like geeks. They where able to restoremydiskbacktofactorysettings but needed my handy dandy recover disc in order to fix it. “Huhhh…” I looked for two weeks for these so called cds but to no avail. I ended up calling HP and they informed me that my new laptop didn’t come with recovering discs. oopsies looks like I was supposed to make my own recover disc they day I opened the box–cheap ass HP So, I had to pay the shipping charges which cost me $29.99 to have it federal expressed. I had a virus again–my third puter that got the bugs. I have to blame it on the teenager. Cost me over $200.00 to get it fixed. The Geeks reccommened Trend Micro. No more NORTON FOR ME. Three strikes and you’re out for me. I have my laptop back now finally!!! I have tried to transfer my thousnds of pics and more thousands of i tune songs over to my computer but my external harddive SIMPLE TECH is burping and farting and isn’t behaving. I exhaust myself out everynight trying to figure this stuff out…it shouldn’t be this hard. May have to go back to the geeks…they could fix it justlikethat

In the meantime my husband’s Ford Truck F350 disel turbo was running funny so we took it to the dealership and found out that it needed a new fuel injector. We had to shell out $700.00–this was after having to pay $6,000 in repairs less than 6 months ago.

Within days our Washing machine was on the brink and teetering upon disaster and then the agitator went bye bye according to my dear husband. So the laundy started to pile up until we didn’t have any clean clothes to wear. We where at the mercy of all the stacks of dirty clothing. You just can’t live without a washing machine. Spent $400.00 for a new machine–Lowes had the cheapest price. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles like the old one. Although, I’m thankful for having clean clothes. It’s been two weeks now and I’m still trying to catch up with the laundry. It really is endless.

Three days ago, I notice that the dishes coming out of the dishwasher were grimmy and slimmy. I noticed that there was a lot of water pooling at the botoom of the dishwasher. Dear husband sucked the water out with his dry vac. He reached his hand into the drain and pulled out of few broken bits and pieces. We thought the problem was solved but of course with our stroke of bad luck it wasn’t going to be that easy. The next day, the dishes looked just as gross. He took the dishwaser outside on our deck and turned it upside down to investigate it’s inerds. He diagnosed the problem as a BAD PUMP.

Dishwasers have gone up in price–$400 at Lowes. He didn’t buy me a new one. So, You guessed it now our dishes are stacking up and I’m having to wash them by hand like we did in the good old days.

AND IT GETS WORSE

I came home from work yesterday and noticed that our garage door was left open–not to smart when you have thousands of dollars worth of snowmobiles and ATV and not forgetting all the powertools and guy stuff. My husbnad was home and looked rather befuddled and told me the gargare door is broken. He had to shut it by hand *shivers* at the thought of not be able to use the remote. Wondering how much it’s going to cost to repair it???? I’m thinking before we repair the door we most likely need to get a new dishwasher.

Things have to start getting better for us. My husband works in the building industry and in Washington State this industry has been hit pretty hard. There are not many houses being built right now. My husband is keeping busy everyday building decks, hanging siding, and doing remodels but building new homes was the big ticket. We worry about no being able to pay our $4,000 morgage payment. We are already two months behind on our house payments.

We really want to sell our house and move to our cabin but it’s not a sellers market right now and I really don’t think the economy is going to improve. I’m thankful that nurses will always have a job. I don’t have to worry about not having a job

I think maybe I should buy my first lottery ticket…

This is a beautiful photo, and it speaks volumes of the simple beauty of your life. I read on a reader board today that the lottery is a tax on the mathematically challenged. LOL.

Wow. That’s overwhelming. A $4000 a month mortgage payment is just too too much. I hope you get some relief soon! Gosh. Run away from the mortgage, the white carpet, the garage doo, the dishwasher…take the washing machine and go. How would you wash clothes at the cabin without running water though?

my dogs love to go camping. they love getting dirty.

I hope things get better for you…too many blows back to back there!

Oh man! Could it get any worse? I’m so sorry you are going through all this. It will get better! It has to. At least you have that cute dog, right?
