Munchin’ On Walnuts

Hey y’all! I’m back from my vacation!

Well, I was back Monday, but it took me until noon just to get stuff cleared off my desk and back to normal. I came to write yesterday, but apparently my free trial had ended the 31st. I didn’t bring my wallet, so here I am today!

The Sunday before Memorial day I went to Paris’s house to grill & chill. It was fun, but I didn’t like how I paid for all the food, and then all the booze … leaving me pretty broke for most of my vacation.

The rest of the week I cleaned my house and did some resting.

On Thursday, Gigi, Paris, her kids, and brother David all went to the lake and did some fishing. I caught the plenty of fish, but only about 3 big enough to keep. I caught 2 of the largest on the same worm. We went back to Gigi’s and she showed me how to clean them. I took them home and fried them up for dinner. Delicious!

Went to the casino with my mom one of the days. As previously stated I was broke, so she kept borrowing me money. I was on the last 20 when I won $279 dollars – I pulled out and paid back my mom the $140 she had fed me and I should have pocketed the rest, but I am not that smart. Went home with $40 I hadn’t had when I went there though. Also we went out to eat and I bought smokes, so I can’t really complain.

I came back to work to find out I was voted employee of the month for June and received a $50 gift card. I’ve been sticking with keto and I am down 37 pounds. Going to need to buy some new clothes soon.

Today has been wonderful.

I woke up before my alarm at 4:55 this morning. Actually had time to have some coffee before work. Took a shower … Nick popped in to join me. Nick was not having such a great morning. He was grumbley. He had dropped his phone in some water in the middle of the night and now it’s dead. Good thing I had all this over time on my check today – He’s going to need a new one.
