The Great Machine is oiled with the blood of the innocent

These engines demand payment from the masses

wreathed in fire and torment

While the masses praise the smoke and destruction from within

The terror unleashed in wrenching up the natural order

bringing the world to a heel

Defeat wages under fears shadow

And the fearful agree to any price for their salvation

even to the point of opening their veins

so the engine continues to thrum and destroys everything around them
