Neutral-Grip DB Incline Press:
2×25 @ 15 lbs
Close-grip BB Bench Press:
2×25 @ 30 lbs
Supplementary Deltoid Triset Tempo: 40X0, rest: 2 minutes
Lateral Raise: 3×12 @ 10 lbs
Cable Upright Row: 3×12 @ 60 lbs
DB Shoulder Press: 8, 8, 5 @ 25 lbs
Swiss-Ball Crunches:
3×12 @ 25 lb plate

This 2×25 day was easier than I thought. It’s not going to be easy next week when I have to do the same set/rep for the lower day. It’ll go fast, but it’ll be hard. Felt a lactic acid burn towards the end of all the sets. The incline press was the hardest to complete. That weight, I’ll keep the same. Same with close-grip bench, which I used instead of dips. The rest of the weights I’ll increase. Not much, but I should.
I knew I could toss in something extra without my workout time being excessive. Gasp, bad me! Whatever. Holding tempo was hard. I rarely bother with tempo, but I decided, eh, what the heck. Hypertrophy I actually has tempo stuff, but I’ve ignored it, as I know it’ll only stress me and be counterproductive. Don’t know when I’ll do this workout again. I’ve decided to not do it on the vertical plane day, as that’ll be too much volume for one day. I’ll see how I feel. I could definitely upright row 70 lbs. And I’ll have to lower the DB shoulder presses to 20 lbs. It’s a preexhaust fatigue method, and man, I just can’t press much overhead afterwards!
