My Plan For A Kick-Ass Evening.

I’m in a very quiet but awesome mood. I’ve had a good day despite the fact I haven’t done any “big” things. Who says you have to do big things every day? I vaguely recall emailing Ashley 8 times from the lab. Just kind of something I do, running my internal monologue along, clears my mind, relaxes me. I’m proud of myself for pushing through and doing those three online quizzes for econ despite nearly falling asleep in the process.

That nap in the van hit the spot completely. I’m glad I decided to eat a hockey puck to get some glucose in my system. I had just the right amount of attention span for my econ class.

I remember writing out in my journal ways my critic has sabotaged/hurt/held me back. Glad I brought that book with me. Read it slowly while sipping tomato soup. Was agast at the headline for The Daily Record. Something about how Pope John was banning students from being members of MySpace. I kind of smacked my forehead – then remembered it’s a private catholic school. That’s what you get for going there, dumbasses. Independent thinking is illegal, even moreso than in public schools.

If any public high school tried that shit, you can bet the ACLU would be after them like republicans after clinton.

Anyway, my plan. It’s almost 7 PM. My day is done! But! I want to enjoy my evening SO MUCH that I want to cram in as much as possible. Immediately after finishing this entry, I want to play Sims for an hour, until 8 PM. I’ll start dinner, and do some spanish labbook stuff while it’s processing. I know that won’t take me long – I just need to get in some daily spanish stuff so I can truely nail that spanish exam. Oh. She canceled it last week, apologizing profusely. Well, at least I get to make sure I know my derecha from my izquierda.

At 9 PM, I’ll get nakie and brush my teeth. At 10 PM, I’ll start playing DOOM3. If anything gets in my way, I’ll shoot them in the head. Grawr! Or the nuts. I love shooting undead in the nuts. I should be out well before midnight. Ah! But the fun doesn’t stop there. I want to get up tomorrow morning and work out. I’m thinking I’ll do the last three online quizzes for econ before leaving, then work out, then hit the diner and make up some more spanish flashcards. I’ll decide what I’ll do with the afternoon later. I haven’t anything due for Unix, as I nailed that exam last week.

And now. TIME TO EMBRACE VIRTUAL LIFE!

hah you made me laugh, hmm dumbasses *grins* I was in a catholic school -and I am supposed Jewish, at least by birth-, hated it, all this bullsh*t they try to make you swallow.. Hmm. Have a nice virtual evening 😉

I’m really grateful I never had to go to Pope John, or any catholic school for that matter. I know a bunch of people that go there and I guess you deal with it if you have to, but I guess I take for granted the fact that I’ve always been pretty free to think for myself. My parents were never too psychotic in the way that they never really pushed too many really radical opinions on me as a child…

I was never really repressed or anything. I am very fortunate. I’m sure a lot of people take these things for granted, especially living in this country, even with all its faults. I’m just in a really good mood right now and I know I’m pretty goddamn lucky. So right now I’m being grateful. *smiles* Take care.
