Link! Zelda needs you!

Today was a bit of a mixed bag of gaming and dad-duties! My son and I kicked things off by exploring some Minecraft together. While he was immersed in his blocky world, I slipped away to prepare his dinner: a classic combo of potato waffles, fish, and some green beans. He polished it all off, and then, true to form, he was absolutely adamant about getting back to his game.

Funnily enough, I was feeling the pull of my own gaming desires! That’s when it hit me – I have the Zelda edition Nintendo Switch Lite! I hadn’t played it in ages. It took a while to get everything loaded up with all the updates, but once I did, I quickly got into it. I actually thought, “This would be a good piece to take into work,” as-long as it doesn’t get stolen.

Anyway, once the game finally loaded, I realized I had absolutely no idea where I was in my save file, so I decided to start a new game. The only problem? I’ve been playing a lot of Doom on the PS5 lately, and I was completely messing up with the controls! It took me a bit to get it under control, but I got there in the end. A fun, albeit slightly fumbling, return to Hyrule!
