A narcissist will bleed you dry and then get mad when you have nothing left to give. They’ll steal from their own kids’ future, spend every last dime on something stupidly expensive, and then act like you’re the bad guy for questioning their life choices. “But I needed the new car/boat/gadget/designer whatever!” Oh, did you? And here I thought providing stability for your family was the priority—silly me! 🤦‍♀️
They’ll make grand promises about building a future, buying a forever home, or creating financial security. Sounds great, right? Too bad it’s all as real as a soap opera plotline. Because the moment they see something shiny, all that “planning for the future” nonsense goes straight out the window—right along with your peace of mind. But don’t worry, they’ll still talk like they’re the ultimate provider, even as you’re scrambling to clean up the mess they made.
And let’s talk about the lying. Ohhh, the lying. They lie so much, they should get a sponsorship deal with deception itself. They lie when it’s unnecessary. They lie just to keep you on the hook. They lie like it’s their damn job—except, let’s be real, most of them aren’t that great at holding down an actual job. They’ll gaslight you so hard, you’ll start questioning if you ever even had money in the first place. 🫠
But the selfishness doesn’t stop with money. Nope, that’s just one piece of the narcissist starter pack. Because in their world, commitment is just a suggestion. Why be faithful when they can collect side pieces like they’re building a damn trading card deck? “I love you, baby, you’re my one and only” – yeah, except for the three other women they’ve got on standby. But somehow, you’re the crazy one for expecting loyalty. 😵‍💫
And the cherry on top? When their selfishness finally backfires, they don’t take responsibility—they throw a full-blown pity party. 🎻 “Why is this happening to me?” Because you did this, genius. But no, no, it’s never their fault. It’s yours, or the universe’s, or the government’s, or their childhood trauma’s—anyone but them. Meanwhile, the people they screwed over are left picking up the pieces while they’re off crafting a brand-new sob story for their next victim.
A narcissist will step over their own family to get what they want, then cry about how they were the ones betrayed. And honestly? If self-serving delusion was an Olympic sport, they’d take the gold. 🏆
