There is a certain kind of pain that words cannot explain. Itβs the loud silence of betrayal, the kind that makes your heart heavy even when you try to smile. You gave him your trust, every piece of it, but he was hiding something. Something he thought you would never find out.
It feels like your whole world crashes when you discover it. Not because of what he did, but because of what he didnβt do. He never told you. He was never going to. If you hadnβt found out, he wouldβve kept going like nothing happened. And that realization stings more than anything.
You sit there, questioning everything. Was it all a lie? Were all those sweet words just part of the act? You replay every moment in your mind, hoping to find the truth, but it only hurts more. You wonder why you werenβt enough for him to just be honest.
Itβs lonely, this kind of sadness. No one truly understands what it feels like unless theyβve been there too. You feel like youβre sinking, lost in a sea of doubts and broken promises. And all you wanted was someone who could love you enough to be honest.
But now, youβre left with the pieces of your heart and the deafening realization that he didnβt even respect you enough to tell you the truth. And thatβs the loudest disrespect of all.
