Sometimes…

Anyone can find any evidence to prove themselves correct. The internet has made it easy. It is why we have become so “me vs you”. Because we want to be right and we want other people to back us up, so we keep searching until we find something to make us right. This is especially the case with moral issues and what our perceptions are. I’m guilty of it. I will gladly put myself out there and say it.

I won’t agree with everything all of my friends post. That just isn’t going to happen. I’m fine with that. Does it sadden me to see some people’s opinions are, what I feel, so incorrect? Yes. Should I let it bother me? No. Should I engage? Nope. Because I’m not going to be able to change someone’s mind on topics of morality. Or topics that I think are moral topics. Because it could very well not be a morality issue for them.

But it is difficult. To see what people post and keep your mouth shut because you want to try and educate what you feel is right. But it is all about perception. You aren’t going to be able to argue with someone who’s passion for a morality subject is the opposite of yours. It is not going to end well.
