Quinoa

I’m harvesting my quinoa.  Never grew it before so everything is a learning process.  I almost feel like I’m taking a step back in time.  Winnowing the chaff from the grain.  It’s kind of relaxing.  Thank goodness I don’t have acres of the stuff – just a few plants.  Enough to make a few meals.  I’m also curious if there will be any volunteer quinoa plants next  year.  That would be cool.
