A Walk and A Book Sale

I have really enjoyed my walks over the last few days. They’re calming, and they are my time to be alone with my thoughts. Without being able to sing aloud in the kitchen during chores anymore, this is also my time to sing and enjoy my music.

Today I found another benefit. I went out earlier than usual, and was able to catch some amazing photos of our local sand cranes! Check it out!!

After that I came home and made some breakfast. Then it was time to get on to the main event of the day: The Regency Park Library’s Spring book sale. I happened to have cleaned up pretty good for 15.00. And I got some extra treats from my favorite (I shouldn’t have favorites, shame on me) librarian!  Here is the whole haul of what I got. I am so excited to read some of these. (or re-read in the case of Maximum Ride).

Harry Potter series books 4,5, and 6. A gift from a wonderful librarian!
Books 1,3 of the Caster Chronicles, and Book 1 of the Dangerous Creatures series
Maximum Ride series 1-4
Books 1, 2, and 4 of Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass series
My two stand alone novels, The Host and All-Girl Filling Station’s Last Reunion

I’ve had a pretty good day, and to top it all off, Daddy C and I have made up. We’ve both signed up for a pay to review site, and I’m  ecstatic about it. <3  I am starting with a science fiction novel that reminds me of another series that I’ve read, and that’s saying something. I just hope it will live up to what the summary says it is! Here is hoping!
