I used to love these About Me sections and try to describe my personality in a nutshell so anyone could understand me. I know now that takes truly understanding yourself.

Divorced, filed March 2020 and finalized June 2020. I used to write online habitually via In The Wire (ITW, defunct), LiveJournal (never stuck to it), and here 2010-2014. I rushed to try and regain my former lifestyle upon filing for divorce but quickly updated my perspective to that of my current age and situation rather than the one I entered my former marriage with back in 2006.

I have a young daughter who has been a source of inspiration and companionship. My parenting style is that more of a coach where it's up to me to ensure she's been enabled to be independent and have the tools for success.

I'm a jack of all trades, master of none type that generally prefers to live in the hypothetical and digital realms. My life is a story of solving problems, finding my place, and relating to others both in hardships and triumphs. I will most certainly reference Astrology and MBTI. I seek to grow as a person; attempting mythical self-actualization. My day job is in accounting where everything comes back to a zero-sum equation. Then, isn't that the nature of energy and life?

This Morning: I was super emotional this morning. I listened to "Cut the Line" by Papa Roach a couple of times, then moved onto "The Ending" also by them. I couldn't sing along to that song without tears and my voice breaking up. I'm realizing how much of an emotional guy I am to the…

I might've been a little too excited about the concepts in the last entry. This week has been fun. I received my car back Tuesday afternoon. The engine failed back on January 13th and I have been in a rental car up through June 14th. It was all under warranty and paid for by the…

There was a confluence of events that helped me arrive at my most recent epiphanies. Discussed last week was my date with... what code word did I use? Let's go with Date 5/30 today. Ehhh... what's that say if I'm resorting to numbers for people. Cringe! Back to the point, I did well to uphold&hel...

I thought it might be fun to see how much difference a year can make. 06/04/2021: I’m kind of doing it again. STBXW and I have been broken up for 4 months now, March 6th, 2021 and despite what I thought I’m actually getting a couple of good conversations going on a dating app called…

Alright, the week. I seem to be making this a weekly routine. Saturday, May 21 I took my daughter for her first bus rides as we met my family for dinner along the waterfront. It's a novel experience. The sea gulls fly around or swim below the eating area and regularly have fries tossed at…

Projection is a phenomenon that happens all the time and seems to rarely be discussed. It takes place in many different forms. From my current perspective it is a fundamental issue in all relationships. I'm hoping this entry gains enough visibility to generate some introspection. In our various f...

Last night, I had an enjoyable time by myself. It's the first time EVER I enjoyed a meal at a restaurant by myself. I enjoyed it too much with that extra half liter of beer, Franziskaner on tap. The local MLS team was playing the final leg of the CONCACAF tournament and since I don't…

Recently I transcribed my creative writing journal written in 2000-2006 and it helped me realize something: I was obsessed with finding the "one." I totally treated my friendships as non-existent. I didn't want to go on living because I had no girlfriend. Being 37 nearly 38 years old and seeing m...
