1637 Gus & Santa face-off
My daddy & I made a date. When our favorite lunch joint advertised that Santa would be making an appearance, we decided it was time for Gus to meet the jolly old fat man.
This was in fact his very first Santa Experience.
Let’s just say, it did not go well… even Mr. & Mrs. Claus look a bit frazzled by the meeting.
Since it was obvious that Mister Gus was feeling displeasure, I kept the picture taking to a minimum.
And while I snapped the pictures, I held back my tears. "This should’ve been her moment."
My mommy should’ve been there.
How am I gonna get through the next few days? I really don’t know.
Yeah, TG. I’m sorry, too…

Awwww. I have no clue what to say that would be the right thing, but I really think your mom saw every minute of that and enjoyed it just as much (or as little) as you did.

Mrs. Claus looks distinctly UNjolly. Merry Christmas, hang in there. For lack of any actually useful advice…. =;p

Your mom will be with you today and always. That may not help now, but it surely will down the road when you really know and feel that she is still a constant presence in your life.

Poor little guy. I’m sorry this had to happen to you guys so close to the holidays. Love you, honey.

It’s a tough age for Gus and Santa Clause. But, don’t worry…that will change. =0) You, my friend, will be in my prayers. {{{hugs}}}

awww. Santa still has a decided smirk on his face. Mrs. Claus, however, looks a bit worried. Poor Gus. I’m sorry that this was such a hard Christmas for all of you. You’re all still in my prayers, and will stay there. *hugs*
