1690 Belated birthday party…Mattson pics!

It wasn’t warm today, but the sunshine has been a real emotional boost.
I finally got the pictures from Mattson’s birthday party loaded on Snapfish. So, here we go…
The cake on the left is Mattson’s "smash cake" and the one on the right was REALLY yummy! This bakery always does an amazing job recreating the party theme(s) onto the cake!
Mattson just getting his first touch of the icing…
…and deciding that he really isn’t a fan of it afterall.
He much preferred opening his gifts.
In fact, he enjoyed the "after party" even more than the party (taken the next morning in his jammies!).
What a great bunch of pictures! Question: did you have the bakery do anything special for Mattson’s cake(s)? Like special ingredients, or was it just a “normal” cake with all the sugar and eggs and good stuff? I am wondering if I need to do something special (ingredients wise) for Spawn’s cake.
