1698 Memorial Day Blessings

It’s Memorial Day.

We just got home from our annual visit to the cemetery to pay respects to the local military.

I opened my email to find a video clip from my cousin Chad.  I don’t know if I’ve ever written about him.  He’s currently stationed in Iraq.

Regardless how you feel about the war, I’d appreciate it if you would pray for his safety. Watch the video of what his company (Charlie Co.) is doing right now in Sadr City.

Count your blessings that you are home cooking hotdogs on the grill and watching parades.

Hey, any Vets out there…thank you!

in my thoughts & prayers. how was your trip to disney world?

I hope your cousin comes home safely. It seems like more and more people are there. Then again, I live in a military town so that might be why. My BIL leaves in August for Iraq though.

Chad will definitely be in thoughts and prayers. All those guys and gals are doing an incredible job. I admit that I don’t think of them as often as I should. RYN: Our boys can be the youngest internet buddies ever! (Mattson could teach Lazy Spawn a thing or two say, about locomotion and how it doesn’t always have to involve a parent.)

RYN: I totally thought of Gus and his crib misadventures when TheMan found Spawn standing in his crib, ready to take a head dive out of it.
