1707 Friday at last

Saucy Scale:  8

I’m really looking forward to my dr. appt. this morning.  I’ve been favoring my right foot to avoid some pain.  Unfortunately, in doing so, I’ve got a new pain on the top of my foot as well.  I just can’t win.

Mattson is working on his newest word: doggy    It comes out sounding suspiciously like "daddy", but is shouted as he charges at Baby Girl.           

He just marched in here wearing the "grocery basket" on his head like a hockey mask. 

Gusser’s potty training is coming along nicely.  We’ve only had one flat-out tinkle problem. (Which I discovered when I caught him "skating" on the new "pond" in our family room.)   We’ve had 2 incidents of "not moving fast enough" regarding poopies.

Mister Gus got a haircut yesterday.  I like his hair "high & tight"…and uber preppy.

And now Mattson is flashing me the "gang sign" for nummies.

My kids crack me up.

I have a new addiction.  Too bad I found it on the eve of starting our new diet.  I have many favorite yummies that I pick up at Trader Joe’s.  This newest find quenches the whole "sweet & salty" need all in one bite!

Trader Joe’s Sea Salt Brownies

A bite of brownie with a teensy bit of salt sprinkled on top.  Holy crap, but those are yummy little devils.  I’m a fool for the salty & sweet.

Time to get the kiddos dressed so we can get out of here for my appointment.
